Challenges

The exchange flow was overloaded, and the interface was outdated. Users didn’t clearly understand where they were in the process, and the team struggled to make changes quickly and safely.

Key problems

  • Unintuitive flow and unclear data presentation

  • Outdated visual design leading to low user trust

  • No unified design system

  • Risky and slow implementation of changes

  • No scalable approach to visual updates

Hypotheses

  • A simplified, consistent flow would improve conversion

  • Clear presentation of data would reduce support tickets

  • Visual consistency would strengthen trust

  • Regular pre-release flow testing would help avoid critical issues

  • A component-based approach would speed up future releases

  • A refreshed visual style would make the product feel more modern and approachable

Process

  • Collected and validated hypotheses with product, support, and marketing

  • Designed modular UX flows and layout structures

  • Updated color palette, icons, typography, and logo

  • Built components and screens within a unified design system

  • Maintained shared design foundations with B2B products

  • Tested exchange flows before each release

  • Continuously improved based on feedback and observation

Results

  • Interface became more intuitive for all user levels

  • Support requests related to swaps significantly decreased

  • UI updates became faster and more stable

  • The brand’s visual style became more modern and trustworthy
